and enjoy a story of snowy holiday delight.

A few Christmases ago, the airline company WestJet set out to make the holiday dreams of its passengers come true. By gathering together 175 volunteers, WestJet was able to set up a virtual Santa portal in one of its terminals, asking passengers to scan their boarding passes and to tell Santa what they most wanted to see under their trees. Not suspecting anything out of the ordinary, passengers happily told Santa they wanted everything from a large television to “new socks and underwear”.

While the passengers were then en route to their destination in Calgary, the dedicated staff of WestJet frantically collected, categorized, and wrapped the gifts from Santa’s wish list.

Upon the flights’ arrivals in Calgary, guests found beautifully wrapped gifts rather than luggage spilling out onto the baggage carousel. One by one, passengers found their gift tags, unwrapping exactly the gifts they had asked Santa for. There was much delight and quite a few tears, all the result of WestJet and its employees going out of their way to act in the spirit of their brand and make their customers feel truly special.

Take a peek at the video of the event to see the joy unfold.

Is your company planning to do anything unusual to bring joy to your customers? Has your company done anything special in the past for your customers that you’d love to do again? Summer will soon be forgotten and the holidays will be upon us before we know it, so let’s start brainstorming now.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
