If an email address isn’t deliverable according to Infusionsoft, we’ll let you know in FuseDesk before you waste time writing an email that will never be delivered.

Often an address is marked as undeliverable because the contact never opted in, opted out of emails from you, flagged your emails as spam, or had too many bounces.

If you’re wondering why an email address is marked as non-mailable, click on the contact’s name in to open their account in Infusionsoft and look at their email deliverability status next to their email address on the right hand side of their Infusionsoft profile.

From there you can click in and see their opt-in history and why their address isn’t mailable.

If you need to, you can even opt the contact in via Infusionsoft. Be careful, though, as you don’t want to violate any spam compliancy rules, and can only opt email addresses in that you have permission to mail.

So what do you do when you can’t reach a customer via email? Try picking up the phone and calling, and while you have them on the phone, ask for an updated email address!
