Helping New Entrepreneurs

In times like these, the idea of becoming an entrepreneur is very appealing, even for people who never thought about going out on their own. For Ed Diamond of the Diamond Law Center, helping people become successful real estate investors is what he loves to do.

Knowing that new entrepreneurs are searching for a business with low risk and high returns, he discovered the perfect solution.

Investing – Without a Capital Investment

Ed and his brother Bob founded the Diamond Law Center to offer classes that get entrepreneurs started as real estate investors. They have more than a dozen real estate investing courses.

Currently they are showing people how to realize a profit without putting any money down. While that may sound too good to be true, with 3 MBAs, 2 attorneys, 1 PhD and 1 psychologist, team members know what they’re talking about.

“What we are focusing on now is recovering tax overages,” said Ed. “This is the only form of real estate investing that doesn’t require capital or buying properties. It’s fun because our customers are not taking a risk, and we attract really interesting people.”

The Importance of Building Trust

Ed claims that if customers are going to trust you with their money, their time and their energy, you had better do what you say you’ll do – and it better work.

“It’s not uncommon for a client to rouse a customer service representative at 9 at night because they got their first deal,” he said. “They’re frustrated and they need help. Our team isn’t meant to be online at that hour, but our call center knows to direct those calls to a real person’s cell phone.”

Ed has some suggestions for his clients who are new entrepreneurs. “When customers trust you to be there for them, they buy more. My advice for startups is to be on the ball, get things done fast and for goodness sake, answer the phone!”

Appreciating the Customer

Since the cost of customer acquisition can be high, Ed goes out of his way to keep his customers happy while onboarding new clients. At the Diamond Law Center, that means providing outstanding customer service – with the help of FuseDesk behind the scenes.

“By having FuseDesk, we can do a really good job for our customers,” he said. “When a call or an email comes into FuseDesk, the system creates a ticket with a timer. There’s a ticket tracking everything.”

“That way, if a customer asks a question, we have the answer. If they email, we get back to them quickly. FuseDesk is SO important to us to help with customer service and support. It streamlines the whole customer service process so we can monitor it easily. We don’t have to spend time wrestling with technology.”

The Future of Business

According to Ed, the customer’s expectation of what technology can do has gone through the roof. “People expect an instant answer. With FuseDesk, everything is integrated and all the information is in the right place.

He predicts that businesses will use more automated responses in the future. “You can identify the top questions people ask and automate the answers. FuseDesk makes it all super simple.”

“Live chat, phone, email, work tickets – businesses will offer service set up for however the customer wants it delivered. For example, if I’m on a conference call, I want to bring up a live chat instead of being on the phone. That’s the future.”
